DevNotes \ Unpack CPanel Backup TAR Under Windows

I got CPanel Backup TAR and I had to extract it. I have Windows on my notebook and all our servers are Windows-powered, so I have to extract this TAR under Windows. Well, it appeared to be a little more complex, than I expected. CPanel creates very interesting directory structure in its backup file, as far as I can understand it begins with '.' folder. All archivers under Windows were shocked by this situation. I've tried Power Archiver, WinZip, WinRar and 7-Zip. I've even tried GNU TAR, but my level of luck was still near zero.

The solution was to find and order a CPanel-based hosting with 30 day trial period. Login to CPanel, restore backup from TAR to server and then download it using FTP.
